Ordos City in Inner Mongolia, China is home to a unique collection of contemporary architecture. The urban centre was intended as a modern, futuristic utopia when construction began in 2004, but it has sadly not performed anywhere near the anticipated level. In modern times, the demand for housing in the world’s major cities is climbing ever higher, property prices are increasing, more people are renting as opposed to buying, and more and more of us are working from home. As a result of these factors and many more, residential architecture must evolve and change in order to reflect the needs of Britain’s current population. It’s always been important to us to keep a door open to new talent, and we pride ourselves on giving exciting opportunities to skilled people.
