Ensuring safe and stable structures
A notable Georgian property in Barnes, South West London collapsed during the last week of November. Although no official report has yet been completed into the matter, the collapse happened while underground basement work was being conducted. This demonstrates the importance of emphasising safety and stability when any kind of work is being carried out to renovate or alter a property – something that we are always deeply committed to in our architectural work. The resurrection of St. Peter’s Seminary
St. Peter’s Seminary is one of the most famous ruins in Scotland. The building near Cardross was built in the 1960s to act as a training college for Roman Catholic priests. The seminary closed in 1980 and the site subsequently became a drug rehabilitation centre before closing entirely in the late 80s. Continue reading
