The Science Museum in London was founded in 1857 and plays host to 3.3 million visitors on an annual basis.  The museum is a publicly funded facility and does not charge for admission. Several ambitious plans are in place to make London into a more cycle-friendly city as cycling is now seen as an established form of mass transport. Cycling has been given a huge push in the capital thanks to work from the Government and Transport for London over the last few years.
