Working on public projects with our architects

Public architecture is in need of the best architects to design it. Public buildings need to be accessible and functional, as well as aesthetically memorable. In a vast, multicultural city such as London which remains highly important on the world stage, excellent public buildings are necessary to best represent the capital in the eyes of the world. When you require a professional architect in London to transform an existing public building or create an entirely new one, we are the team you can rely on for excellence and dedication.

Our architects work to the highest possible standards whenever we work on public projects. In the past, we have worked closely with large public institutions that have multiple stakeholders to create buildings that look beautiful but are also functional and well suited for public use. We work with many planning authorities to ensure successful planning can be undertaken and also work extensively in project management, overseeing all work carried out to ensure that it meets the highest standards.

We have worked on a huge array of public buildings including libraries, cinemas, galleries, museums and many more. Examples of our public projects include the Urban Theatre in Glasgow and the Tricycle Theatre in London. We designed an entrance for Queen’s College in Oxford that blended into the original surroundings, and designed an adaptable library extension that can also be used as a music room for St. Patrick’s School in Kentish Town. We worked on renovating barristers’ chambers in Middle Court, and we are currently working on the Research Centre for the Science Museum in London, due to be unveiled later this year.

Our practice runs on a culture of excellence and a dedication to providing the best possible architecture for London. Our architects are highly lauded for the work that they accomplish, something that is evident in the number of awards that we have gained along the way. Our awards include the 2014 Retrofit Award for House under £300k, a double RIBA Award in 2012, the Stephen Lawrence Prize in 2011 and the Best Renovation in the Daily Telegraph’s H&R Awards in 2011, amongst many others. We continue to do all that we can to innovate architecture and to improve the public property of London, one design at a time. Contact us now if you wish to speak to a dedicated architect in London.
