St. Peter’s Seminary is one of the most famous ruins in Scotland. The building near Cardross was built in the 1960s to act as a training college for Roman Catholic priests. The seminary closed in 1980 and the site subsequently became a drug rehabilitation centre before closing entirely in the late 80s. Continue reading

Overcoming a lack of available space
There has been plenty of controversy when it comes to developments in commercial and residential architecture throughout the years, and this looks likely to continue long into the future. While London is well known for containing a unique blend of architecture from across the centuries, there is always debate around the best way to contribute towards that tradition in the years ahead. There are currently two common trends which we are seeing in the work of many architects creating properties in London: the construction of increasingly tall towers and commercial buildings, and basement conversions being carried out on residential properties throughout the city.
