With Coffey Architects helping you at every phase of the project, the whole thing will be a success.
One of the first things to explore is architectural styles; this refers to the way in which structures are defined according to their characteristics, the materials that make them up and which era they’re modelled on. Every client wishes to build a structure that fits in with the area that surrounds them, exhibits the correct sort of image and matches up with their own personal preferences. By knowing about the different styles and what makes them so special, coming to a decision on which one to use will be an easy task.
American colonial has existed since the 17th century. This style consists of the architectural designs which made their presence known during America’s colonial period. During this time settlers from different corners of the globe moved to the US to create a new life. They brought their culture with them and architecture, creating a really diverse style. Features like rectangular shape, pitched roofs and shuttered windows are common.
Mediterranean homes are ideal if you live in sunny and hot areas. Making its debut around 1918 and having significant popularity during the 1940s, the influences for this design come from Spain, Portugal and a host of other Mediterranean environments. Attributes include arched walls, red tile roofs and exquisite garden areas.
At Coffey Architects we go above and beyond to develop architecture for clients who have a specific vision in mind. We work to help people incorporate their personality into the design alongside the style they like, making properties that become truly special.
