LREF 2017 is an important event for real estate in London

The London Real Estate Forum (LREF) 2017 takes place on the 14th and 15th of June. It is the premier event for the field, offering a busy programme of debates, discussions, seminars, exhibitions, and speeches. Over 2,000 people will be in attendance, including developers, retailers, and investors. They will all have a great opportunity to network and look at important topics in the industry.

The first day of the forum is focused on the economy, the business sector, and Central London. The second and final day shifts the focus to housing, policy, and infrastructure. Both days have plenty of fantastic events on offer.

Our team at Coffey Architects are taking part in the first day. We will be showcasing an exhibition based on the Smaller Sites Programme we took part in. This is our debut at the Forum and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

We have been working hard for several weeks to create models for the exhibition, calling on the talents of our passionate team and the latest equipment. We started off by doing some samples and then moved on to laser cutting and 3D printing. June 12th was the deadline to have everything finished and it was quite a hectic moment.

We hope our appearance at LREF 2017 won’t be the last and the Small Sites Programme gets the attention it deserves. After-all there are plenty of small sites all across London that could be redeveloped to provide housing and additional workspaces. It just needs developers and architects to take the projects on, even if they are a little more challenging.

As one of the most creative architects London has to offer we are happy to share our ideas and solutions for small sites. If you have any questions for us please feel free to get in touch. We can help with every aspect of projects, from initial designs to tackling planning obstacles and project management.
